Yes. Gerard Self Storage facility offers a wide variety of boxes and packing supplies. We offer boxes, moving supplies to make storage a snap.
Do you have moving carts available?
Yes, the Gerard Self Storage facility has an inventory of "push carts and large appliance dollies" that may be used free of charge. If you find yourself renting a unit and need a push cart, please let the Store Manager know and they will be happy to assist you.
Do you have video cameras?
Yes, Gerard Self Storage facility uses video cameras as a security measure. Cameras are generally located at the point of entry and exit and other areas around the facility. The number of cameras and the type of system that is installed at each facility will vary based on the design of the facility.
Can anybody drive onto this property or do you need a PIN number?
Our facility has an electronic gate system which can only be opened by a security code that is assigned to each individual tenant. The code allows us to monitor who is entering and exiting the facility.
What is a roll-up door?
Roll-up doors are the most common door in self-storage. They are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward, similar to the motion of a garage door. Roll-up doors allow you to maximize the usage of your space.
Do I get a lock when I rent a unit?
You can purchase a new “Chateau” lock at your Gerard Self Storage facility. We offer a variety of sizes and types of locks and recommend purchasing a disc lock to ensure the highest level of security.
Do you offer RV/boat/car/motorcycle parking?
Yes, Gerard Self Storage offers parking for RVs, boats, cars and motorcycles.
What is a drive-up unit?
A drive-up unit is an outside unit, located on the first floor of a facility, which gives you the ability to load your belongings directly from a vehicle or truck.
What's the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The office hours are the hours of operation for the property. During these hours the Store Manager will be available to assist you with your storage needs or moving and packing supplies. The gate hours are the hours of the property, and when your unit can be accessed. If you require access outside of our standard gate hours ask your Store Manager for information about 24-hour access.
How far in advance can I book a reservation?
We give you the flexibility to book a reservation up to 30 days in advance to help you plan ahead.
What kind of security do you have?
Gerard Self Storage takes great pride in protecting your belongings and strives to provide state-of-the-art security. We feature electronic gate with coded access, monitored video surveillance, fenced and well-lit facilities, personal locks available for purchase; Contact the Store Manager for more details.
What are the payment terms?
Gerard Self Storage strives to make your storage experience as hassle free as possible, including paying your bill. Typically, our leases are month-to-month but we also offer the flexibility of long-term leases. We also offer AutoPay. We can automatically charge your MasterCard® & Visa® each month or you can pay in the on-site office

What sizes are available and how do I pick my size?
We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate your needs. Determining the right size is easy with the help of our Store Managers who are trained to assist you in this process.
Sizes range from:
5x5 (25 square feet). Small-sized units are great for garden tools, boxed business files or office supplies.
5x15 (75 square feet). Store the furnishings of one or two bedrooms in a mid-size unit. This unit is also the perfect size for extra business inventory or office equipment.
10x10 (100 square feet). Can hold an entire family room of furniture or the contents of two full bedrooms. It can also fit an entire office, including a desk, chairs, computer, lamps and shelves.
10x15 (150 square feet). One of our larger units can accommodate the three-bedroom belongings of a growing family.
10x20 (200 square feet). Store the contents of a 5-bedroom house, or five years worth of business files, in one of our larger, more spacious units.
12x24 (288 square feet). Provides enough storage space for a 7-bedroom house, a grand piano, or a year's worth of business inventory.
Store your recreational vehicle, boat or car in one of our secure, outdoor RV/Boat parking spaces.
